Calendly Integration

Automatically receive pre-call competitive briefs when meetings are scheduled with people at competitor companies.

Requirements

Plan: War Room or Command Center · Role: Admin or Owner (to connect)

What It Does

When someone books a meeting through Calendly, Rival Radar analyzes the invitee's email domain and company to check if they match any competitor in your library. If a match is found, you receive a pre-call brief email with:

  • Which competitors were detected from the meeting invitees
  • Links to relevant battle cards in your library
  • The meeting details (name, time, invitees)

This means you never walk into a competitive meeting unprepared.

Setup Guide

  1. 1

Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendly

Navigate to the Calendly integration page. You must be an Admin or Owner.

  2. 2

    Click Connect Calendly

You'll be redirected to Calendly's OAuth flow. Authorize Rival Radar to access your Calendly events and invitees.

  3. 3

    Webhooks are configured automatically

Rival Radar registers a webhook with Calendly to receive notifications whenever new invitees are added to your events.

  4. 4

    Receive pre-call briefs

When a meeting is scheduled and competitors are detected, you'll receive a pre-call brief email with battle card links and meeting details.

How Competitor Detection Works

When a new invitee is added to one of your Calendly events, Rival Radar:

  1. Extracts the invitee's email domain and company information
  2. Checks against your tracked competitors and analysis library
  3. If a match is found, pulls the relevant battle cards
  4. Sends you a pre-call brief email with all the intelligence you need

Detection works best when you have a robust analysis library. The more competitors you've analyzed, the more likely meetings will trigger a pre-call brief.

Maximize coverage

Run analyses for all your common competitors so Calendly can match invitees against them. Even old analyses help - the system matches by company name and domain.

Disconnecting

To disconnect Calendly, go to Settings → Integrations → Calendly and click Disconnect. This removes the webhook and stops pre-call brief notifications.
