Salesforce Integration

Auto-sync competitive deal data from your CRM to Rival Radar.

Requirements

Plan: War Room or Command Center · Role: Admin or Owner

What It Does

The Salesforce integration connects Rival Radar to your CRM to:

  • Auto-import win/loss data from Closed Won and Closed Lost opportunities
  • Sync competitor information from opportunity fields
  • Track deal values and revenue impact against specific competitors
  • Eliminate manual data entry for competitive deal tracking

Setup Guide

  1. 1

    Go to Settings → Integrations

    Navigate to the integrations page from your organization settings.

  2. 2

    Click Connect Salesforce

    You'll be redirected to Salesforce's OAuth flow. Log in with your Salesforce admin credentials and authorize Rival Radar.

  3. 3

    Auto-sync begins

    No manual field mapping needed initially - auto-sync starts immediately.

  4. 4

    Enable sync

    Turn on automatic sync. Rival Radar will poll for new closed opportunities and import them as win/loss records automatically.

Company name detection - Automatically detects from opportunities.

Pipeline sync - Deal stages sync to Basecamp Pipeline tab.

Cron job every 30 minutes - Automatic background sync.

Win/loss data auto-import - Closed deals automatically captured.

Synced pipeline deals appear in the Basecamp Pipeline tab.

Pro tip

The more deal context you capture in Salesforce (loss reasons, competitor names, deal notes), the better Rival Radar's AI insights will be. Encourage your team to fill in the competitor field on every competitive deal.
